In development: StudBus InfraCore

StudBus InfraCore is currently under active development by www.blue2.nl (check out our site for exciting projects)

InfraCore will be a modular platform for smart vehicle control, automation, and interactive model building applications.

 

 

The system is being developed for, among other things:

• Automatic H0 vehicles
• Interactive model worlds
• Smart sensors and triggers
• Lighting, motion, and audio
• Integration within the StudBus ecosystem

The first prototypes are currently running on a custom development platform with real-time control and communication between modules.

The goal of InfraCore is to make creative model building more accessible, smarter, and expandable — without complicated installations.

After milling the magnetic track, plastering, sanding, and painting the first contours, the road is already becoming quite visible. 

5 Prototype units are basically soldered, Master unit from which all communication goes to the slave modules.

IR controller for steering to and from the vehicles such as stopping, driving, accelerating, indicating direction, lights on/off, flashing lights and some other functions.

Sound module for all kinds of sounds in your build or Diorama to link with actions. 

Streetlights, street lighting can be controlled per lighting unit such as lampposts

Trafficlights, control the traffic lights or link them to an action, such as Priority 1 red, and green for emergency vehicles such as fire brigade or police. Maintenance mode orange flashing. 

These units are mounted under the plate and will soon be able to communicate via RS485.
